Dutch Act
Dutch Act
A character driven, modern film noir, crime thriller.
Mind games and insurance fraud are brewing in DUTCH ACT, in which a series of suspicious suicides leads a down-and-out ex-cop to a sultry sex therapist.
Dutch Morgan is a brash ex-cop who hides his gun in his pants and tells you he's just happy to see you. Forced to throw in his badge when two young suspects die in a bust-gone-bad, he now gets by as an insurance investigator.
Intrigued by a seemingly random series of suicides, Dutch goes to his estranged former partner Detective Ramon Jarvis, who reluctantly provides him with inside information. Dutch attempts to tie together what appear to be unrelated clues and suspects; the most suspicious of which is Charlotte Webster. Charlotte is a sultry sex therapist whose biting edge is as tantalizing to Dutch as are her long legs. Jarvis turns up missing, and Dutch turns up the fact that Charlotte and Jarvis were more than acquaintances. Dutch must now rely on the woman he trusts least to lead him to his friend.
Solving this case, and saving Jarvis might be just the ticket Dutch needs to get back into the game. Which is where he'll find himself when a famous New York clothing designer turns up dead. Is it suicide or murder? We'll find out in Dutch's next adventure; "Fashion Victim."
